The School of Geography, Geology and Environment has worked with Holcim to develop and deliver this e-Learning short course in aggregate processing. The program is only available to employees of Holcim and its group companies, and group access to the course will normally be organised and paid for at country or regional level. Individuals should therefore speak to their Learning and Development manager in the first instance.
Detailed Description
The program is designed to give an introduction to various aspects of aggregate processing, and comprises the following 5 courses:
- Screening
- Crushing
- Feeding
- Sand production
- Conveying
The course is accredited as 8 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) by the UK's Institute of Quarrying, and on successful completion, learners will receive a Certificate of Completion from the University of Leicester.
