The School of Geography, Geology and Environment has worked with Holcim to develop and deliver this e-Learning short course in the different aspects of running a successful CDM Recycling business. The program is only available to employees of Holcim and its group companies, and access to the course will normally be organised and paid for at country or regional level. Individuals should therefore speak to their Learning and Development manager in the first instance.
Detailed Description
The program is designed to give an introduction to the different aspects of recycling construction and demolition materials, and comprises the following five courses:
- Introduction to CDM and the Circular Economy
- CDM Market Assessment
- Sourcing the right Inbound Materials
- CDM Processing – the similarities and differences compared with virgin aggregates
- Case Study Exercise
