Payment of the entry fee for the 2024-25 ESU-Essex Court Chambers National Mooting Competition

Detailed Description

Welcome to the 53rd year of the ESU-Essex Court Chambers National Mooting Competition. The National Mooting Competition provides law students from universities and colleges throughout the United Kingdom with the opportunity to gain experience in their future role as advocates. The winning finalists, as well as having their names engraved on the Silver Mace, will be awarded a prize of £1,000 each, whilst the educational establishment at which they study will also receive a donation of £1,000. The members of the running-up team will receive £750 each, and their institution will receive £500. Additionally the four semi-finalists will receive £250 each for reaching that stage of the competition. These prizes have been generously donated by Essex Court Chambers. All four finalists will be offered a mini-pupillage at Essex Court Chambers.
