Detailed Description

You can use this payment option to pay for the following:

·        Fines

·        Lost book/s

·        Lost locker keys or loanable equipment (e.g. table tennis sets, whiteboard sets, HDMI cables)

You can check what fines you owe by logging into your library account here. If you have lost a library book or books, the standardised replacement charge is £62 per item.

For the replacement cost for other loanable items, such as locker keys, please speak to staff at the Information Hub desk, or email library@le.ac.uk before making a payment so that the correct charge can be given to you.

If you have lost a loanable laptop, please contact staff at the Information Hub or email library@le.ac.uk as soon as possible to discuss the next steps. Advice about our current fines and charges can be found on our website - https://le.ac.uk/library/using/fees-and-charges 

You cannot use this option to pay for the following:

·        Tuition fee payments

·        Accommodation fee payments

·        Lost laptops

·        Items for which you have already received an invoice. This must be paid for via the Fees and Income Team (contact feesandincome@le.ac.uk or call +44 (0)116 252 3733)

Please note: Once you have made a payment, you will receive email confirmation when staff have removed the fine/charge from your library account. We aim to process your payment within 48 hours, excluding university closure days and bank holidays when staff are not available to process your payment (https://le.ac.uk/about/info/term-semester-dates/closure-days).
