Star Wars 50 Years: Pasts, Presents, and Futures is an academic conference bringing together scholars, researchers, practitioners and members of the public to reflect on fifty years of Star Wars and its cultural, industrial and social significance.

The conference is organised by the University of Leicester in partnership with the Leverhulme Centre for Humanity and Space, with contributions from the Festival of Media Stories and other local partners.
