Poetry Writing Workshop

The Botanic Garden poet in residence 2023, Tim Relf, will be running a small poetry writing workshop, suitable for poets of all levels, interested in gardening or just keen to spend some time in, and take inspiration from, the beautiful surroundings of the Botanic Garden.

An informal course suitable for poets of all levels interested in gardening or just keen to spend some time in – and take inspiration from – the beautiful surroundings of the Botanic Garden.

A half-day opportunity to write, receive feedback on your work and discuss poetry, as well as explore the University of Leicester’s Botanic Garden, often referred to as ‘the most diverse garden in the region’.

Whatever your skill level this is your chance to:

• meet our poet in residence 2023, Tim Relf,
• find out how he writes and where he finds inspiration,
• write your own composition and
• if you wish to, share your writing with the group.

Light refreshments will be provided for a relaxing experience.
