DescriptionThe Leicester Masterclass 2023 is themed around Business Continuity Planning. As the world we live in seems to lurch from one crisis to another, the Masterclass will explore the ways in which organisations need to anticipate, and plan for major disruptions. Changes in the external environment, along with natural and man-made disasters all pose substantial threats to our institutions and our social and economic infrastructure. By having robust Business Continuity Plans, organisations are better able to mitigate the worst effects of these disruptions, helping to ensure continued production, continued employment and continued contribution to local and national communities. Working in international teams, you will consider all aspects of business functionality, position these alongside an understanding of potential disruptors and use this understanding to design and devise a Business Continuity Plan. You will also be encouraged to take-away this understanding of business continuity to see how you can make a difference within your own organisation.
