DescriptionA one-day interactive workshop for health care practitioners who want to further understand and develop empathic evidence-based practice, in order to improve patient care and reduce practitioner burnout. This workshop will cover the theory and practice of empathy in healthcare and facilitate the development of evidence-based 'empathy habits' to enhance empathy in clinical practice. This event will be organised and facilitated by Dr Andy Ward and the Stoneygate Centre for Empathic Healthcare Team. The 'Early Bird' options are available until 20th December only. *The institutional rate is valid for members of the International Association for Communication in Healthcare (EACH), the UK Council for Clinical Communication, the Royal College of General Practitioners, The Collaboration for Compassion in Healthcare Education (C4CHEd) and University of Leicester employees.
