A one day CPD course being held at the University of Leicester David Wilson Library.

This course is aimed at those interested in or working in the Historic Environment who wish to explore archival sources as part of their professional and/or research interests in historic sites and buildings.

The course aims to provide participants with:

  • an introduction to what archives are
  • how to locate useful archival sources via online catalogue portals
  • how to handle archival material
  • how to approach research in order to get the best out of these unique primary sources.
