Course Description

This one day course is designed to appeal to heritage practitioners, early career archaeologists and researchers, community groups, and anyone who wants to develop their report writing skills. At the end of this course participants should understand how to produce written output which meets the standard of grey literature in the archaeology field, and is suitable for inclusion in OASIS. The intended learning outcomes of this course are: Understand report design. Increased editing & writing competence. Putting research skills in context, understanding research frameworks and the intended outcome of the report. Visual design, making assessments of good and bad practice using case studies. Writing for your audience, how to identify your audience and adjust writing style as appropriate.
