A one day CPD course to be held on the 8 November 2017 for historic building specialists who have a little experience in digital archiving and the management of digital data.
A one day CPD course to be held on the 26 October at the University of Leicester aims to introduce archaeologists and heritage practitioners to the art of writing a desk based assessment (DBA). With input from Grahame Appleby (City Archaeologist, Leicester City Council), and Vicki Score (Deputy Director, ULAS) we aim to provide a course that will not only enhance the skills of archaeologists who have only recently begun writing DBAs, but to offer insight for those hoping to broaden their experience and move into writing as part of their current or future career plans.
This course is aimed at those interested in or working in the Historic Environment who wish to explore archival sources as part of their professional and/or research interests in historic sites and buildings.

A one day CPD course. to be held on the 24 October, aimed at heritage professionals, focusing on the development of skills which will enable attendees to get successful outcomes for the post fieldwork aspect of archaeological projects.
A two day CPD course to be held at the University of Leicester on the 6 & 7 November. This course will explore the conservation, management, and development of rural sites. It will also include a field trip to visit current projects and recent building work.
A one day course to be held on the 25 October at the University of Leicester. This course introduces users to ArcGIS and QGIS, letting them develop their skills and develop a question based approach to using the software.
