Participants will gain an overview of how OCT has evolved in paediatric ophthalmology from first case reports to current research in the field. Interactive lectures will describe the key findings from OCT studies of normal retinal and anterior segment development. Further lectures and case-based discussions will explore the use of OCT in ocular pathologies e.g. nystagmus, paediatric glaucoma and prematurity. For those most interested in the practical application of handheld OCT, the course will include demonstration and guided hands-on training.
