Overseas Reassessments

On receipt of your application, The Examinations Office will make an initial approach to the British Council/ Institution specified on your application. Dates and times of your examinations, which must be sat simultaneously with the Leicester examinations, and general guidelines under which the University requires the examinations to be conducted, including the requirements relating to the return of examination scripts are provided. No request for overseas examinations will be approved if these conditions cannot be met.

Where a request is accepted, the Examinations Office will contact the relevant Academic Department to seek approval for your request. If no objections are raised, the Examinations Office will contact you via e-mail to confirm that your application has been successful.

All students will be notified of the outcome of their application via e-mail on or before Friday 13th August, 2010.

Upon receipt of this e-mail you should contact the relevant British Council Office/Institution to ascertain the amount you will be charged by them to cover the cost of hosting your examinations. You should also confirm the location and the local time you will be required to attend for your examinations.

It is a student’s responsibility to check the Examinations and Timetabling website to ensure that no changes to the dates, times or durations of your examinations have been made. Where changes have been made, you should contact the overseas centre directly to confirm any changes to arrangements.
